The day Aaron Metler started his job in the city reaction division as the race coordinator, most people mistook him as a high school intern. Seven years later, this gangly youngster straight out of the University of Michigan has made name for himself and his program, St. George Races. One of his more renowned events, the Snow Canyon Half Marathon, has received national recognition as one of the top 13.1 mile races in the country by Runner's World Magazine!

There's no doubt that Metler has become a fixture in southern Utah not only as a respected, hard-working race director but also as an elite runner with three St. George Marathon Champion titles under his belt just to name a few. Despite his fierce competitive drive on the race course, he's probably one of the most likable guys you'll ever meet.
